Events at Jagdhaus Eiden
We offer our guests thrilling event highlights at Jagdhaus Eiden, as well as in Bad Zwischenahn and the surrounding area all year round.
In addition to fixed events here in the village, such as the annual Bad Zwischenahn week in August, you can also expect a number of events at the Jagdhaus Eiden that have almost become a tradition, often exclusively for you as our hotel guests. These include, among others: setting up the maypole, Midsummer Night, Thanksgiving, as well as our goose buffet in November, the gala menu on New Year’s Eve or our legendary kitchen parties. It’s never boring at Jagdhaus Eiden and you’re guaranteed a special experience – simply very special, very Eiden.
Themed evenings
Starting from September, we will be offering our house guests themed evenings regularly on Sundays and Mondays. Instead of the usual à la carte menu in the evenings, there will be the opportunity to participate in our themed menu on selected dates (available with the half-board option at no extra charge).
The following themed evenings will be offered in rotation:
- "Thai Evening" with guest chef Joy from Bangkok
- "Vietnamese Streetfood" cooked and served by our apprentices from Vietnam
- "Bella Italia" with our Sous Chef Giuseppe Treccarichi from Sicily
- "1001 Nights" Oriental cuisine with chef Shadi Almoula and hotel apprentices Fatima Hossaini from Syria & Afghanistan.

We're bringing Oktoberfest to Ammerland!
We'll meet you at the Jagdhaus Eiden on the covered garden terrace with a view of the Zwischenahner Lake on October 22, 2022, from 11 am to 3 pm.
The Tinnen Wind Orchestra will provide a good atmosphere.
Our kitchen team has prepared a small menu with lots of Bavarian specialities for you.
The ticket price includes one 0.5l beer, two veal sausages, and a pretzel.

Goose march
From November 1st to December 23rd, we will be serving our whole goose again. The bird will be roasted crispy and carved at the table. Accompanying the dish, we will serve braised apples, red beet cabbage, Brussels sprouts, glazed grapes, and potato dumplings.
The price for one goose is €78.50 (sufficient for 4 people, only one goose will be carved at the table, additional geese will be carved in the kitchen). The side dishes will be charged separately at €18.40 per person.

Rookies Pop up Restaurant
Some of our apprentices will run their own restaurant for a week. The Rookies Pop-up Restaurant is planned and executed by them, including food preparation and service. You will be treated to an exciting menu in the premises of Apicius.

All guests are invited to sit together at the Chef's Table, where we invite you to join us for a shared aperitif and a journey through Northern Germany. You can discover the themes in our four-course menu.

Goose Buffet
November is goose time - also with us!
On 19.11.2023 we offer our annual goose buffet again.
Freshly carved geese with apple red cabbage, grape cabbage, Brussels sprouts, Ammerland kale, with bread dumplings, Schupfnudeln, potato dumplings, stewed apples.

Winemaker's Evening

On November 26, 2023, our first Winemaker's Evening will take place. You can look forward to four selected German winemakers and their wines chosen by us. We will accompany the entire evening with multiple food stalls, our own estate-grown wine, and, of course, attentive service. Enjoy many exciting wines, good food, and pleasant conversations with insights into the daily life of an independent winemaker.
The event will take place from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM in the premises of our gourmet restaurant Apicius, as well as in the Jägerstube and the Orangerie. Wines, water, soft drinks, and meals are included. Price: €84.50 per person.

New Year's Eve Gala

We would like to bid farewell to 2023 and welcome 2024 together with you. For this occasion, it is our pleasure to invite you to our New Year's Eve Gala.
Admission to our restaurant is from 6.30 p.m. (evening wear is requested).
As an aperitif, we serve a glass of champagne at 7 p.m. From 7.15 p.m. we will start serving the menu.
For the duration of the menu (until 10.30 p.m.) the aperitif (champagne), the table wines selected by us, mineral water and soft drinks are included in the menu price.
Digestif, schnapps and coffee are not included in the menu price, as are all drinks ordered or served after 10:30 p.m. The evening will be musically accompanied by entertainer and DJ Olli Fischer.
