Our hotel services

Which swimming pool and sauna facilities are available?

Our spacious swimming pool complex covering more than 1,500 m² includes a heated outdoor swimming pool, a saltwater pool and whirlpool, an indoor swimming pool, experience showers, a steam bath, Finnish sauna, sanarium, outdoor mill wheel infusion sauna, infrared cabin, plunge pool, ice fountain and a large outdoor relaxation area with beach chairs. Use is free of charge from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival until 12 p.m. on the day of departure.

What fitness facilities are available at the hotel?

Our facilities include a fitness room with strength and endurance equipment from Technogym, a multigym with cable pulley system, a TRX suspension trainer, free weights and outdoor fitness equipment.

What leisure activities are available at the private bathing beach?

During the summer, a pedal boat and four stand-up paddleboards are available at our private bathing beach with jetty. You can also look forward to a beach wagon sauna, a bocce court, a putting green and various ball games.

Are there opportunities for jogging, cycling and hiking?

Yes, you will find hiking trails around the hotel that are ideal for jogging, cycling and hiking.

Is there a terrace with a view of the lake?

Yes, our garden terrace offers a beautiful view of the lake.

Which restaurants and dining areas are available at the hotel?

Our culinary highlights include the Eiden Restaurant, the Pavilion, the conservatory and the orangery, serving regional cuisine.

Are the rooms equipped with a coffee machine?

Yes, all our rooms are equipped with a Nespresso capsule machine.

The hotel offers games, table tennis, table football, darts, children's billiards, a pinball machine and a bowling alley.

Are there green fee discounts for golf courses in the surrounding area?

Yes, you receive a 25% green fee discount at Golfclub am Meer e.V., as well as a 30% discount at Oldenburgischer Golfclub e.V., Golfclub Hatten e.V. and Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre e.V. At Golfclub Ostfriesland-Wiesmoor, you receive a 20% discount.

Is there a discount for mini golf?

Yes, you receive a 50% discount on mini golf.

Are there storage facilities for bicycles brought with you?

Yes, lockable bicycle storage rooms and free charging facilities are available for bicycles you bring with you.

Is information available about current offers and excursions?

Yes, the Eidenpost is waiting for you on the breakfast table every day, featuring numerous offers such as guided excursions in the surrounding area.

Is a shuttle service to the train station available?

Yes, a free shuttle service to the train station is available upon arrival and departure.

Is there a casino on the premises?

Yes, the Bad Zwischenahn Casino is located on the premises. Admission is possible with a valid identity card.

Are there electric vehicle charging stations at the hotel?

Yes, electric vehicle charging stations with a charging capacity of 11 kWh are available. The price is €0.60 per kWh.

Which wellness and spa treatments can be booked additionally?

For an additional charge, we offer soothing beauty treatments, relaxing massages and revitalizing treatments at our EidenSpa.

Which cosmetic products are available at the hotel?

We offer cosmetic products from Babor and La mer.

Which additional spa facilities are available for an extra charge?

For an additional charge, you can use the solarium, sunbathing lawns, whirlpool bath, soft pack lounger, moor steam bath and PrivateSpa.

Is there a wine list at the hotel?

Yes, our wine list includes more than 650 selections.

Is a transfer to the town center available?

Yes, we offer a transfer to the town center several times a day.

Is a laundry and babysitting service available?

Yes, a laundry and babysitting service is available for an additional charge.

Can an extra bed be added?

Yes, a Treca extra bed including breakfast can be added for €55.00.

Can half board be booked additionally?

Yes, our half-board option with a 5-course Eiden menu can be added to the room rate for a surcharge of €37.50 (from 2027: €39.00) per person per day. Booking before arrival is recommended.

Are garage spaces available for cars?

Yes, individual garages measuring 6.10 m x 2.90 m and equipped with an automatic door opener are available. The price is €15.00 per day.

Where can I find information about staying with a dog?

You can find all important information about dogs at the Eiden here.

Can bicycles or e-bikes be rented?

Yes, city bicycles can be rented for €11.00 per day and e-bikes for €25.00 per day. From November to March, the price is half in each case.

Can Segways be rented?

Yes, Segways can be rented for €20.00. The price includes instruction and one hour of riding time.

Are conferences, celebrations and catering possible at the hotel?

Yes, we also offer facilities for conferences, celebrations and catering.

Notes on room booking

Is a tourist tax charged in addition to the room rate?

In addition to the room rate, a tourist tax of currently €3.00 per person per day is charged.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: Your room will be ready from 3:00 p.m.
Check-out: You must check out by 11:00 a.m.

Can short weekend stays be booked?

Weekend reservations for 1 to 2 nights can only be booked including half board.

What minimum length of stay applies during certain travel periods?

The minimum length of stay during certain periods is as follows: 3 nights for Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Corpus Christi, 6 nights over Easter, 4 nights over Christmas and 5 nights over New Year's Eve.

When does the guest accommodation contract come into effect?

The guest accommodation contract comes into effect as soon as the accommodation provider has accepted the room reservation. The guest is obliged to pay the agreed room rate.

Are the room number, category, furnishings and additional bookings binding?

All supplementary agreements, such as the room number, category, furnishings and additional bookings, are recorded by us in writing. Please check your confirmation in this regard. The obligation to pay is independent of the actual use of the room.

What free cancellation periods apply to room reservations?

The hotel grants free cancellation of reservations for more than 15 rooms up to 6 weeks before arrival, for 6 to 14 rooms up to 4 weeks before arrival, for 3 to 5 rooms up to 2 weeks before arrival and for 1 to 2 rooms up to 1 week before arrival, until 11:59 p.m.

What special regulation applies to reservations over Easter and from December 24 to January 2?

Reservations over Easter and for the period from December 24 to January 2 must be cancelled at least 4 weeks before arrival.

What applies in the event of later cancellations or shortened reservations?

Shortening a reservation is excluded from the cancellation policy stated above. In the event of later cancellations for reasons for which the hotel is not responsible, a cancellation fee amounting to 80% of the actual room rate may be charged if the cancelled rooms can no longer be re-let. We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. We will be happy to send you the relevant forms.
